Flashing VIVO Y17s Using SP Flash Tool

1. Download and Install Mediatek Driver Autoinstaller

   • If Mediatek Driver is already installed on your computer, skip this step.
   • Otherwise, download and install the driver.

2. Download Stock ROM

   • Download the Stock ROM (firmware) for your Mediatek Device.
   • Extract the downloaded firmware on your computer.

3. Download and Extract SP Flash Tool

   • Download SP Flash Tool and extract it on your computer.
   • You should see the following files after extraction:
     • SP Flash Tool Extracted Files

4. Launch SP Flash Tool

   • Open flash_tool.exe to launch the tool.

5. Load Scatter File

   • Click on the Scatter-Loading Button.
   • Locate and select the Scatter File from the firmware folder.
   • Click the Open button.

6. Start Flashing Process

   • Click on the Download Button to begin the flashing process.

7. Connect Device to Computer

   • Connect your Mediatek Device to the computer using a USB cable (ensure the device is powered off).
   • After connecting, press the Volume Down or Volume Up key for the tool to detect the device.

8. Flashing Process

   • Once the computer detects your device, the flashing process will start automatically.

9. Completion

   • A Green Ring will appear at the end of the flashing process.
   • Close SP Flash Tool and disconnect the device.

10. Success

• You have successfully flashed or installed Stock Firmware on your Mediatek device.

Removing FRP (Factory Reset Protection) on VIVO Y17s

1. Open SP Flash Tool

   • Launch the SP Flash Tool on your computer.

2. Load Scatter File

   • Load the scatter file for your device.

3. Bypass the Auth

   • Bypass the authorization requirement.

4. Go to Format Tab

   • Select the Format tab in SP Flash Tool.

5. Manual Format Flash

   • Choose the "Manual Format Flash" option.

6. Set Format Addresses

   • Enter the following addresses:
     • Begin Address [HEX]: 0x7508000
     • Format Length [HEX]: 0x100000

7. Start Formatting

• Click on the Start button to begin the formatting process.
