POCO X6 Pro Users – Read Before Flashing!
Hey everyone, just wanted to drop something useful here for folks working on the POCO X6 Pro.
So I had this device the other day, dead after a failed flash. Wouldn’t boot, wouldn’t detect — total headache. What saved me? The Preloader_raw_a.bin file. Flashing that brought it back to life. Lifesaver.
Also, if you’ve lost IMEI after a bad flash (we’ve all been there 😅), I’m including an IMEI backup file from a working POCO X6 Pro. Just a heads-up: don’t use it for cloning or illegal stuff — it's only meant for restoring your own phone’s original IMEI.
Now, the tricky part — Mi Account lock. If you’re stuck on that screen, there’s a workaround that helped me: replace the persist.img in the firmware with a modified one (included). If your flashing tool supports individual partition flashing (some do), then just flash the persist.img directly. Worked like a charm in my case.

What’s Inside?
- 📄 Preloader_raw_a.bin (to fix no boot/no detect issues)
- 🔒 Modified persist.img (for Mi Account removal)
- 🧬 IMEI Backup File (for personal restoration use only)
Few Tips:
-
Tools like SP Flash Tool, UMT, and Hydra usually support single-partition flashing. Try flashing just
persist.img
if your goal is to bypass Mi Lock. - For IMEI, restore only if it's wiped — and again, don’t mess around with other devices' IMEIs. That’s not just risky, it’s illegal in many countries.
One Last Thing:
I’m not responsible if something goes wrong or if you misuse this. This post is for educational and recovery purposes only. Use it wisely, use it ethically.
If you get stuck, drop a comment or message. Happy fixing, and good luck with your POCO X6 Pro! 👍
