Flashing Redmi 13 “Moon” with HyperOS 2 ENG ROM Free Download

I worked on a Redmi 13 (the Moon variant) recently, and I had to flash the latest HyperOS 2 ENG ROM on it. I wasn’t expecting anything special because Xiaomi models sometimes act difficult during flashing. But this one was actually pretty easy.

When I loaded the ROM and the DA file in my tool, it didn’t throw any errors. The phone connected on the first try, which already made my day. I started the flash, waited for it to run, and it went through without stopping even once. No sudden disconnect, no red errors, nothing.

After the flash finished, the phone booted normally. I was honestly waiting for some issue like a long boot loop or a freeze, but it didn’t happen. It came straight into the ENG system. For an engineering build, it felt stable. The touch worked fine, scrolling was smooth, and menus opened without delay. It also has the updated security patch, which is useful when you’re repairing or testing.

This ROM is not something I’d suggest to a normal user. It’s more for people who fix phones or need to check hardware. But for repair work, this build is solid and doesn’t create extra problems.

What I actually did

Nothing fancy. I just:

• Loaded the ENG ROM
• Added the DA file
• Connected the phone
• Auth done
• Flash started
• Waited
• Rebooted

And it worked. No tricks required.
