Xiaomi No Auth Warning Review – Check UFS Before Any Operation
Hello friends, today I want to share a very important warning for Xiaomi users and mobile repair technicians. Recently many people are doing no auth operations on Xiaomi devices without checking hardware details properly. Because of this, some users are facing dead boot and serious storage problems after flashing or unlock work.
After testing this information myself, I can clearly say this guide is 100% genuine and very useful. I personally give this information a strong 10/10 review because it can save many devices from damage.
The main point is simple. Before doing any no auth operation, first check the UFS manufacturer and model of the device. do not use any tool directly first check the required details than try to flash or unlock.
Important Warning
If the UFS manufacturer is Kioxia or Toshiba, then do not perform no auth operations.
This is the biggest thing users should remember.
Many people ignore this small check and later regret it after device problems start appearing.
How To Check UFS With Root
If your device has root access, then use this command:
cat /sys/devices/platform/soc/1d84000.ufshc/string_descriptors/product_name
UFS Manufacturer Codes
- TH = Toshiba / Kioxia
- KL = Samsung
- MT = Micron
- HN = SKHynix
How To Check UFS Without Root
The good thing is you can also check UFS details without root access.
Follow these steps carefully:
- Open dialer or search bar
- Enter: *#*#284#*#*
- Wait around 2 to 3 minutes
- After “Bug report ready” notification appears, open File Manager
- Go to MIUI/debug_log folder
- Open the bugreport zip file
- Scroll down and open second zip named bugreport
- Open dumpstate_board.txt
- Search for UFS Spec
- The line below will show your UFS information
My Real Experience
I tested this method personally and the information is absolutely correct. Many users directly start no auth flashing without checking storage manufacturer. But after seeing different cases, I now understand why this check is very important.
The process is simple, free, and only takes a few minutes. But it can save a phone from serious issues.
Honestly, this is one of the most useful small guides I have seen recently in the Xiaomi repair community.
My Review
Information Quality: 10/10
Easy To Understand: 10/10
Useful For Technicians: 10/10
Safety Importance: 10/10
Final Words
If you regularly work on Xiaomi phones, then never skip this UFS check before no auth operations. A small hardware check can save both your device and your money.
