Removing MDM Lock from Infinix X6516 (Infinix Smart 7 HD) Using Flashing (Free)

Have you ever found yourself with limits following purchasing a phone, such as the Infinix Smart 7 HD (X6516), on a payment plan, even though you received a great deal on it? Until the plan is paid off, those plans occasionally lock the phone using MDM (Mobile Device Management). You should use this guide! To unlock the MDM lock and use your phone without restriction, follow these steps if you've caught up on payments or have even paid it off in full. 

Important Note: This method is only applicable for devices that have been purchased second-hand or for devices where the EMI (Equated Monthly Installment) has been completely paid off.

Required Tools:

• A computer with a working USB port
• A USB cable to connect your Infinix X6516 to the computer
• The latest SP Flash Tool software
• Scatter file for Infinix X6516 (Infinix Smart 7 HD)
• MDM file for Infinix X6516 (Infinix Smart 7 HD)
• Miracle Box or similar dongle (Optional)

Instructions:

Format All Partitions:

a. Connect your Infinix X6516 to the computer using the USB cable.

b. Download and install the SP Flash Tool software on your computer.

c. Launch the SP Flash Tool software.

d. Click the "Download" tab.

e. Select the "Scatter file" for Infinix X6516 (Infinix Smart 7 HD).

f. Uncheck all pre-checked options except "Preloader" and "DA".

g. Click the "Download" button.

Flash MDM File:

a. Wait for the SP Flash Tool to complete the formatting process.

b. Click the "Download" tab again.

c. Select the "MDM file" for Infinix X6516 (Infinix Smart 7 HD).

d. Uncheck all pre-checked options except "MDM".

e. Click the "Download" button.

Unlock Bootloader:

a. Wait for the SP Flash Tool to complete the MDM flashing process.

b. Connect your Infinix X6516 to the Miracle Box or similar dongle.

c. Follow the instructions provided with the Miracle Box or similar dongle to unlock the bootloader.

Wipe Data/Factory Reset:

a. Turn off your Infinix X6516.

b. Press and hold the "Volume Up" and "Power" buttons simultaneously until the bootloader menu appears.

c. Select the "Recovery Mode" option using the "Volume Up" and "Volume Down" buttons.

d. In Recovery Mode, select the "Wipe data/factory reset" option.

e. Confirm the data wipe by selecting the "Yes" option.

Power On Your Device:

a. Once the factory reset is complete, select the "Reboot system now" option.

b. Wait for your Infinix X6516 to restart.

Repair IMEI (Optional):

If your device's IMEI number is null or lost after following these steps, you can use a tool like XTC2 IMEI Repair to repair the IMEI number.
