🔹 How does CPID/CHIPID restore work?

1. When you connect the phone, the tool reads the CHIPID (CPID). This is like the phone’s fingerprint — unique for every motherboard.

2. Then it shows a panel with all the important stuff:

• Device codename (example: pond or lake)
• CPID confirmation
• Original numbers: IMEI, MEID, Wi-Fi MAC, Bluetooth MAC
3. You can even check these against the label on the phone box.
4. The tool then writes those numbers back into the NV partitions. Since it’s linked to your phone’s CPID, it’s safe — you won’t end up writing someone else’s IMEI by mistake.
5. After reboot, the radio services restart, and your IMEI plus network are back like nothing happened.
