My Experience with SPD Factory Reset by GSMYOGESH
Hello friends,
Today I want to share something useful that helped me a lot recently. It’s a small tool called SPD Factory Reset by GSMYOGESH. If you repair phones, especially Spreadtrum (SPD) models, then you know how annoying it is when a phone gets stuck on logo or asks for a Google account after reset. I had the same problem, and this little tool really saved me.
Why I Tried This Tool
A customer came to me with a cheap SPD-based phone. It was stuck on the startup logo and wouldn’t go forward. At first, I thought flashing the full firmware would solve it, but the file was too big and not easy to find. So I decided to test this tool because it promised two things:
- Factory Reset (SPRD)
- ADB FRP Reset
Factory Reset (SPRD)
The first option I tried was the Factory Reset. This is basically like wiping the phone completely. After connecting the device to my PC and pressing the button, within seconds the phone was back to default settings.
- It cleared the lock screen.
- It fixed the boot loop.
- The phone started working again like new.
Honestly, I was surprised at how quick it was compared to flashing firmware.
ADB FRP Reset
The second option is the ADB FRP Reset. If you have ever faced the Google account lock after reset, you know how stressful it can be. The phone just sits there asking for the old Gmail, and without it, you can’t go inside.
I tested this feature too. Once USB debugging was enabled, I pressed the FRP reset button, and the lock was gone. Simple as that. After restart, the phone was ready for a new account.
Things to Remember
- Factory reset will delete all data, so backup if you can.
- This tool is only for SPD (Spreadtrum) devices. Don’t try it on Qualcomm, MediaTek, or others.
- Always double-check before pressing buttons.
