iAPro A5-A6 Activator Review 2026 – Full Activation Without Arduino, But Is It Really Worth It?
If your old iPhone or iPad is stuck on the activation lock screen, then maybe you already heard about the iAPro A5-A6 Activator tool. Recently I tested this tool on some A5 and A6 CPU supported devices to check how well it really works in real life.
In this article, I am sharing my honest testing experience, real problems, working status, and what happens after bypass. This is not copied information. Everything here is based on my own testing.
What is iAPro A5-A6 Activator?
The tool claims to fully activate old Apple devices without using Arduino hardware. Normally many old iCloud bypass methods require Arduino, USB Host Shield, or extra hardware tools, but this software says you only need Wi-Fi and a Windows PC.
The tool supports A5 and A6 CPU devices like:

- iPhone 4S
- iPad 2
- iPad 3
- iPad Mini 1
- iPod Touch 5
Supported A6 Devices
- iPhone 5
- iPhone 5C
- iPad 4
According to the developer, the process is simple:
- Restore device
- Connect to Wi-Fi
- Click Activate Device
- Wait for activation complete
Sounds easy, but real testing gives a different story.
My Real Testing Experience
Today I tested the tool on both A5 and A6 devices. Yesterday the bypass was working successfully one time, but today both servers failed again during activation.
I tried:
- Server 1
- Server 2
But both failed in my case.
The tool sometimes gives errors like:
- NOT_AUTHORIZED
- Bypass activation failed
- Device not activated errors
So the success rate is not stable.
What Works After Bypass?
After successful activation bypass, the device can still do many normal operations like:
- Wi-Fi internet browsing
- Watching YouTube
- Gaming
- Safari browsing
- Basic app usage
- Music and videos
But there is one very important problem.
No Network Signal After Bypass
This bypass is mainly a No Signal Activation Bypass.
That means:
- No SIM network
- No calling
- No SMS
- No OTP receiving
And honestly, this is the worst part for Indian users.
Because without OTP support, you cannot properly use:
- UPI apps
- Banking apps
- Secure verification apps
So if somebody thinks this tool will make the device fully normal like factory unlocked, then that is not true.
The device becomes more like a Wi-Fi-only device after bypass.
Security Warnings and Defender Problems
Another thing I noticed is the large number of warnings when opening the tool.
Windows Defender blocked many files during installation. At first I even faced issues opening the software properly.
Later I realized the tool is heavily protected and many things are hidden inside the software.
Honestly, this does not give a very trusted feeling for normal users.
My Opinion About the Tool
After testing, I personally feel this tool is more focused on making money instead of giving something special to end users.
The biggest reason is because similar operations already exist for free on GitHub.
Some free open-source projects can already do almost the same activation process. The good thing with open-source tools is:
- You can see the source code
- You can check what requests are sent
- You can understand what happens during runtime
But with iAPro, almost everything is hidden and encoded.
Many server requests are encrypted and locked behind their own activation system.
So users never fully know what the tool is actually doing in the background.
My Loader Test
I also created my own loader program for testing purposes. With that loader, the tool can open freely and real device testing works without extra server redirect problems.
The ECID reading and detection were working properly during my tests.
Installation and Activation Process
Step 1 – Install the Tool
- Extract the RAR file
- Use password:
gsmyogesh.com - Run the EXE file as administrator
- Complete installation
Step 2 – Generate Activation Key
- Open the tool
- Copy the HWID
- Visit activation page
- Generate activation token
- Paste token back into software
Step 3 – Register License
After registration, the tool shows active status with remaining days.
Step 4 – Connect Device
- Connect iPhone or iPad
- Tool reads IMEI, Serial, and ECID
- Click Activate Device Server 1 or 2
- Wait for process complete
If errors appear, you may need:
- Stable Wi-Fi
- Fresh restored firmware
- Quick Flash mode from iTunes or 3uTools

- Free alternatives already available
