MIA2 Unbrick/Restore System Fix Tool And All Required File Free Download

Hello,

I would like to introduce you to three methods of how you can restore your Mi A2 Lite that no longer starts.

A) Factory reset via the recovery menu

It is usually enough to reset the smartphone to the factory settings using the recovery menu.
Note: All files, settings, and apps will be deleted!

1. When the smartphone is off, press and hold the Power + Volume button for approx. 3 seconds.
The "AndroidOne" lettering appears and then a black window with " No Command "

2. In this window, press Power + Volume again for approx. 3 seconds.
The recovery menu opens.

3. Select the following here (using the volume buttons):
  • Wipe data/factory reset " (confirm selection with power key) and confirm warning message with "Yes".
The smartphone will now format the data, then the recovery menu will appear again, then
  • Reboot System now "
The smartphone restarts (can take about 2 minutes) and can be set up again

B) System recovery with the help of the Mi Flash Tool

The use of the Mi FlashToolrequires an unlocked bootloader.
So:
developer
options-> "OEM unlocking" activatedADB command: [fastboot oem unlock]

Since these instructions are usually aimed at users who
are keen to experiment, these steps should already be done.
If "OEM unlocking" is not activated, there is no possibility of restoration in this way.

1. The following is required:

2. Unzip the Mi Flash Tool,
as well as the firmware, which is packed 2x (tgz -> tar), you need an unpacker like 7-Zip.
The storage location can be chosen as desired, for example on the desktop or in the download folder.
3. Starts the smartphone in Fastboot mode ( Power + Volume below ) and
connects the smartphone to the PC
4. Starts the Mi Flash Tool: Use the Button " select " to select the extracted folder " / daisy_global_images_V ... ". On the right with the button " refresh ", you can check whether the smartphone is recognized. If not, the drivers may need to be installed.

Driver -> Install
Ensures that the firewall or the antivirus is not blocking anything.

There are three options at the bottom right:
  • clean all: all files, settings, and apps are deleted (restoration of factory settings)
  • save all user data: files, settings, and apps are retained (for updates/upgrades)
  • clean all and lock: all files, settings, and apps are deleted, the bootloader is locked (restoration of factory settings)
The "save user data" option cannot lead to an unbrick under certain conditions. The smartphone then hangs in the boot loop.
We, therefore, choose " clean all " for the restoration.

The " flash " button in the top right-hand corner starts the flash process. It takes about 2 minutes.
The smartphone restarts automatically. The first start-up process can take a little longer.
The smartphone can now be set up again.

C) System recovery using the ADB_Fastboot tool

If for some reason the MiFlashTool does not work, there is still the possibility to restore the system via the ADB console.

1. The following is required:
  • Download the Flash script: (below in the attachment)
2. Unpacks Minimal_ADB_Fastboot,
as well as the firmware, which is packed 2x (tgz -> tar), you need an unpacker like 7-Zip
3. Copy all the files in it from the downloaded, extracted archive " daisy_global_images_V ... " in the " Images " subfolder into the ADB_Fastboot directory.
The Flash_Reset.zip from the Annex unpack and the file " Flash_Reset.bat " also in the ADB_Fastboot directory to copy.
4. It starts the smartphone in Fastboot mode ( Power + Volume below ) and
connects the smartphone to the PC.
Starts the batch file " Flash_Reset.bat ".
The flash process should take about 2 minutes. The smartphone then restarts automatically and can be set up.
